Defect Removal

  • When performing paint corrections, we are taught to follow the path of least resistance. After assessing your vehicle's needs, we conduct multiple test spots using various combinations of pads and polish to determine the most effective solution.

  • The complexity of automotive paint, influenced by factors such as condition, panel complexity, and paint hardness, can lead to varied results. Our two-stage correction process consists of two essential steps: cutting and polishing. However, depending on the vehicle's condition, additional cutting may be necessary to achieve the desired outcome.

  • As a general rule of thumb, vehicles over 5 years old or with over 120,000 kilometers will likely require a two-stage correction for maximum defect removal.

Standard Practice

  • Before any abrasives are utilized, we conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle. This step enables us to gain insight into the vehicle's history. Utilizing our thickness gauge powered by Nexdiag, we meticulously measure paint thickness, enabling us to create and send detailed reports to you.

  • During this inspection phase, we may uncover previous repairs, inadequate paint thickness, or undisclosed damage. Should we identify any issues that could compromise the quality of results or potentially cause further damage, we reserve the right to refuse the job.

  • Our commitment to transparency and quality ensures that we deliver exceptional results while prioritizing the integrity of your vehicle. Additionally, the detailed report generated by Nexdiag provides you with valuable insights into the condition of your vehicle's paintwork, empowering you to make informed decisions regarding it's care and maintenance.
